At 1,327MW generation, FG says power supply may worsen
The federal government says the epileptic power supply being faced nationwide could get worse by tomorrow May 23rd if the strike action by the Senior and Junior staff unions of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation persist. At a press briefing in Abuja today, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Power, Ambassador Godknows Igali said prior to the strike action, Nigeria was comfortably producing 4,800MW but this has dropped to 1,327MW due to unavailability of gas.
