Results of the Kogi State governorship election which held yesterday from the wards show that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abubakar Audu has shot ahead.
In some of the wards whose result inner room obtained Audu posted impressive showing beating his main rival Governor Idris Wada.
Governor Idris, has however expressed disatisfactions with the conduct of the election aaleging widespread manipulation, intimidation of voters by security agents.
Audu commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, saying “so far, so good, it is well organized.”
Final declaration of the results by INEC is being expected.
