The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, has relocated to his home state, Edo, ahead of the governorship election in the state, The inner room has learnt.
The poll holds on September 10.
Odigie-Oyegun, who has not been sighted at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja where he works since Monday, was said to have moved to Edo for the final preparations for the electoral exercise.
Odigie-Oyegun last official outing at the secretariat was when he met with the Ondo State governorship aspirants on the platform of the APC on Saturday over the crisis on an alleged imposition of an aspirant by the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
But the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Lawal Shuaibu, in company with the Deputy National Chairman (South), Segun Oni, had chaired the second part of the meeting, which was held with the Ondo State APC executive on Tuesday.
