N21bn Scam: Abba Moro denies involvement.

The immediate past Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, has denied having a hand in the alleged theft of N21bn in his ministry during his term as the minister.
Moro also denied allegations of his arrest by anti-graft agencies as speculated in some quarters, especially in the social media.
The ex-minister said some people rushed to his residence in Abuja to verify the allegation and were surprised to see him in the comfort of his home.
The former minister spoke at a reception in his honour at his country home, Ugbokolo, Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday.
He noted that the peddlers of the rumour were only out to cast aspersions on his image, saying throughout his tenure as a minister, the ministry did not even record a budget of N10bn.
According to him, it is only proper for him to accept responsibility for every action and inaction of his subordinates, particularly the Nigeria Immigration Service recruitment exercise, where 16 people died.
Moro, however, said the job of providing employment had not been accomplished in the country until the last person on the street was employed; until there is 24-hour electricity; until an average Nigerian has access to three square meals per day and shelter over his or her heads.
He berated the Peoples Democratic Party members, who defected to the All Progressives Congress after the PDP lost power at the centre, describing them as fair-weather politicians.
