EFCC arrest former imo state governor Achike Ndenwa.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday, quizzed former governor of Imo State, Chief Achike Udenwa.

Highly placed sources at the EFCC said Udenwa was interrogated until 9:00pm, when he was allowed to go on administrative bail.

One of the sources, who spoke in confidence with ‘New Telegraph’, said the former Imo helmsman’s interrogation, was in connection with the campaign funds of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2015 general election.

The Commission had earlier arrested a former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Esther Nenadi Usman.

The Head of Media and Publicity of the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, could not be reached for official comment.
